Pomegranate Seed CO2 Extract - 100% certified organic. This lovely, clear yellow oil is nutrient-rich in unsaturated fatty acids, plant sterols, tocopherols, and squalene.

This Pomegranate Seed CO2 Extract contains all lipohilic components extracted from the seed of Punica granatum (Pomegranate) using pure and environmentally friendly supercritical fluid (natural Carbon Dioxide) extraction technique. Therefore, Pomegranate Seed CO2 Extract contains no solvent residues, no inorganic salts, and no heavy metals – only pure, nutrient-rich oil.

Pomegranate Seed CO2 Extract does contain 0.05% Organic Rosemary Extract as an antioxidant.

Green Tea (Camelia sinensis) standardized powder has been used traditionally in Asia and India for centuries. Green Tea is now recognized world-wide as a powerful antioxidant source.

These antioxidants, known as polyphenols, function as “free radical scavengers” for Reactive Oxygen Species. Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) or “free radicals” are damaging compounds that have a negative impact on health – including skin health. Toxins from the environment - including ultraviolet rays from the sun, radiation, cigarette smoke, and air pollution – promote damaging ROS.

Recent studies have confirmed that Green Tea can be beneficial for skin care by neutralizing ROS. Many scientists believe that damage from ROS leads to premature aging. We believe antioxidants are our first and best defense against premature aging.

Green Tea Extract Standardized Powder is highly concentrated with (minimum) 95% total polyphenolic compounds - including Catechin and EGCG.

Green Tea Standardized Powder is particularly useful in anti-aging formulations and sun care products.

Research Study: In a small study, patients with papulopustular rosacea treated with a hydrophilic cream containing 2% polyphenone (green tea extract) experienced a significant reduction in mean inflammatory lesion count compared with patients applying vehicle cream, according to results reported here at the 63rd annual meeting of the American College of Dermatology.

The study recruited 60 women aged 25 to 50 years. All women had visible signs of papules and pustules, 20 had erythema, and 17 had telangiectasia. Half of the women were randomized to treatment with the 2% polyphenone cream and half to vehicle cream. The women applied the cream to their faces twice a day for four weeks.
